Refining the blog name

U=In the blog I’ve maintained for more than a year, I was able to add a sub-head to the title that better defined what it’s about. In the blog I set up today, the title shows but I can’t figure how to enhance that title with an explanatory line of information. Can you tell me how?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi!

Are you referring to the blog voteofconfidence.net? I don’t see any content on publicdecency.wordpress.com. If you’re referring to the former, I believe you would like to specify something like the subtitle in grey beneath your site title shown here:

Is that correct? If so, we don’t have a specific method for adding a subtitle to a post title. The easiest way to do this would be to include the subtitle at the top of the actual post content. Would that work?

I am referring to Vote of Confidence and the line below the title that better defines its purpose. Public Decency has no posts yet. That will follow in time, and the purpose of the blog will be to point our good programming on public television. If it could say Public Decency (title); highlighting the best TV choices on public television (added to title)
I would be happy with paying the annual fee. If I can’t clarify the site, it will sound to some like a morality blog.
Thanks for responding. Hope you can guide me through this.

You can definitely add this bit of clarification to PublicDecency.wordpress.com by adding the Tagline under Appearance -> Customize -> Site Title & Tagline. Can you give that a try?

Thanks so much. That accomplished what I was looking for. Now that I’ve solved the mechanics, I can concentrate on content.
