Refresh of RSS widget (sidebar)

    Hi everyone!

I’m quite new to blogging (and not a native speaker…), so please forgive my possible misunderstanding of some things.

    So here’s my issue:
I have set up a RSS widget in the sidebar (standard theme) with a feed from my last.fm account (recently played tracks, address: http://ws.audioscrobbler.com/1.0/user/I_AM_G0D/recenttracks.rss).
The feed shows up, but then again, it doesn’t update on my blog, altough the feed itself holds new data. The only time the feed displays updated is when I edit the widget…?

I’ve been searching the FAQ and forum for quite some time now and can’t find anything which lead me to a solution. I know there are automatically generated images delivered by last.fm, but then again, I don’t want to make such an excessive use of bandwidth on either side (text <-> jpg)…

Am I just making a stupid mistake, is this a knwon issue or is there a defined interval for the web server to re-read the feed?

    Thanx in advance,
    fluke

Errm, just noticed that the data has been updated. So I suppose there’s a fixed interval for updates…
I’ll keep an eye on the feed.

If there’s anything I should be aware of, I’d appreciate a short answer. In any other case, just regards this as solved.

The sidebars are cached to some extent. You may be hitting that.
