Refreshed Twitter connection at Sharing Settings page, but error message remains

I have refreshed the Twitter connection at Sharing Settings page multiple times, but error message “This connection may not be working correctly” remains. I don’t really used Twitter, so I haven’t paid much attention to this, but I believe the error message has been present despite multiple refreshings of the connection for at least a couple of years.

Also, my Publish module has Twitter mentioned twice, as follows:
Publicize: Twitter: , Twitter: @songbook_1

There are two twitter connections to this site, and one of them isn’t connected to a profile. I’m happy to delete the extra one to see if that fixes things.
Let me know if you want to give that a shot and we’ll proceed from there.
