Refreshing Connection with Facebook and LinkedIn
-
I have been trying to reconnect to Facebook and LinkedIn. Every effort has resulted in an error message that I am missing a nonce. When I try to disconnect so I can reconnect I get the following error message: “Invalid/missing blog nonce. All core actions require a valid nonce.”
This is causing me to loose followers on Facebook and LinkedIn. Please help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. I could find only one other thread regarding a similar error message and staff’s advice in that case was to clear the browser cache and cookies. Please give that a try and let us know if that doesn’t help: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

I had tried your suggest several times with no results. This time I noticed that at the top of the window to delete history, etc., I noticed a selection to delete favorites password and cookie information for faster loading. This time I check that to delete. Afterward, I was able to disconnect with Facebook and LinkedIn, and then reconnect. Working fine now.

I’m glad to hear that. Next time I encounter this I’ll be sure to tell the user to delete saved passwords as well.

There is still a serious Pasting Problem. Half the time I have to paste to Word, do a select all and cut, then I can paste to WordPress. However, I loose valuable pictures and illustrations. Therefore, it is taking much more time to publish. PLEASE FIX THIS.

The pasting issue is known and staff is working on it. The main thread on the topic is here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/paste-text-broken-visual-editor/page/2?replies=29 Please subscribe to that thread – if there are further developments staff will let us know there.
For now the Paste from Text button seems to work. It’s in the 2nd row, 5th button in the visual editor toolbar. Just note it will strip out any formatting you may have already added, e.g. bold, italic, etc. Images would be best to add via the Add Media button in the post editor – pasting images is always a risk.
