Reftagger. Please. Reftagger
-
I hope my topic line sounded desperate enough. Reftagger would be a fantastic addition to the WordPress plugins. I guess Faithlife (the maker of Reftagger) is not too concerned with its loss of support on WordPress because you can still use the plugin on a WordPress.org site. But seriously, there are so many blogs that use WordPress.com as a host that would benefit greatly from Reftagger. It would make many sites (mine included) look much better and more professional. As well as add a significant amount of convenience for our readers: instead of having to click a link for every Bible verse mentioned, they will just be able to hover over a hyper-link.
WordPress used to support Reftagger, please bring it back!! I know several bloggers who have chosen not to use WordPress.com simply because they don’t support this plugin. It is bad for your business! Isn’t that what the whole plugin restriction thing was about in the first place?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Oh, and here is the link, complete with an outdated tutorial on how to add the plugin to your wordpress.com hosted site: http://reftagger.com/

The code is JavaScript and the software here will continue to strip it out to provide security as this is a multi-user blogging platform.

Okay … my head was spinning as I considered what you meant by that. Best wishes with your site. :)

No problem at all. I’m practicing my singing for the Chrismas Eve concert as I’m answering support threads. Fortunately, the hubby is out and the Pomeranian who loves to sing (howl) with me is with him. :)
