Hi, I signed up for a free wordpress account to do an assignment but didn’t end up using it. Last week I saw I was charges $99 for a premium account that I didn’t want! I haven’t even used the blog once. I saw I can apply for a refund, but it won’t work! The money came out of my account but it won’t show up on my billing history page so I can’t apply for a refund. This was a week ago now and I really don’t want it to surpass the 30 day limit. This is very, very stressful for me as I’m a student and really can’t afford to lose that money. Please can you help?

I took a look at your account, and while you entered your payment information when you began the free trial, you canceled the trial in time so that you were not charged.
You unsubscribed the Premium upgrade on November 29, 2014, for your own records.
Sometimes, a credit card company might put a “hold” on the $99, to make sure you have the funds when the actual charge goes through. You should check with your credit agency or bank and make sure this is the case. They should also release the hold, if this is what happened.
In case you need it for your bank, I am emailing you your receipt right now, so you can see your transaction number, and the $0 charge.

Okay thank you I think this is what’s happening because it still hasn’t come up with the transaction details on my statement. I will call the bank and see if they can help.
