I have tried repeatedly to contact support with no response. Now I am trying to cancel my domain but when I get to the link to Cancel and Refund, it won’t respond. This is a mess. How do I get rid of my new domain?

I just took a look and I don’t see any domains associated with this account, only a premium theme. Is it possible that you purchased the domain in another account by any chance? Alternatively, were you looking to cancel your theme?

I’m new at this, was using the wrong language. Yes, I spent $79 on the Opti theme, but did it in error, really should have done it in .org, not .com. My understanding is that I need to cancel what I bought and purchase the proper theme in .org. The problem is that when I get to the Cancel and Refund toggle, it won’t give me a way to enter anything or go any further.

That’s not a problem at all! Everyone was new at some point. :)
I have gone ahead and cancelled that for you and issued you a refund for the $79. Depending on your bank and their refund policies, you should have the money back in your account in the next few days to few weeks.
