My card was charged $99 today after the 2 week free premium trial. I looked at the Support questions and followed the steps for cancellation/refund. I could only come across “cancellation”, not “cancellation AND refund”. I went ahead and cancelled the premium trial membership, but still need information on a refund. Also, my debit card is being replaced for other reasons, and the card number on file will no longer be valid. Therefore, in order to receive a refund, would I need to input the new card information once I receive it? Please help. Thank you.

Hello there,
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. Okay, thank you. I have cancelled the upgrade. I am not waiting for the email in order to confirm cancellation.
Regarding the card, I can then just add the new card number once it arrives without a problem?

The sole owner of any blog is the person with the username account who registered the blog, who is the original Admin of the blog, and who purchased the upgrades for the blog. That blog owner can login and update credit card information at > Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades.

The transaction in question was successfully voided. No charge was placed.
If you’re still seeing a pending charge on your payment method’s statement, it should disappear within a few days.
