Refund

I am very concerned. Your website is overwhelming for me, a newcomer. I started a proderekco.wordpress.com website about 12 days ago and have not had success reaching your technical team or get access to cancel my plan. The price $299 dollars for my business website has been charged to my account but I have had no success in reaching anyone. Please help me to either recover my business website account or refund my money. Here are the facts about my website account: I am a real person. I uploaded a picture of myself leaning backwards at my computer with my hands behind my head. I did not make the site public. I changed my email address from (email visible only to moderators and staff) to (email visible only to moderators and staff) but neither of these addresses are recognized when I tried to recover my account. I tried to re-register under the same website address proderekco.com but that domain name is no longer available. What am I suppose to do? I am totally disconnected and am frustrated beyond measure. Please contact me as soon as possible.

Hello! I do not see a site proderekco.wordpress.com, but I do see a user proderekco. I’ve just sent an email to the account on file for that user. If that is you, please respond to that email and I can help you regain access. :)

I just checked both of my accounts, I have not received an email from you. I also checked the spam mailbox and again there’s no email from you. What does this mean? Has my account been highjacked? I am the official owner of that site. Should I stop payment with my bank?

Timethief, I just created that page today. How can it possibly be proderekco profile? Further, how can this account be one week old? This is not the account that I purchased. I want my money refunded. What do I need to do?

Timethief, I created the scarrysituationhere website account as a dummy account to get reconnected in an attempt to reach representatives of WordPress.com. I have not been successful in reaching out through the channels provided. So I am grateful to finally have someone who is at least connected and giving attention to this matter. It’s been twelve days.

Shawnajroberts, please advise. I have not received anything from you. I have everything that is necessary to prove that that is indeed my account. Why would anyone else want my website account?

Hi there! I can assure you this is nothing you need to panic about. I’ll send you an email to the address listed here:
https://wordpress.com/me/account
Please do not stop payment with your bank. If you do that, I can’t issue a refund once we sort out the account access issue.

Yesterday, I paid $99.00 for a Premium blog. Why does it still have wordpress.com tagged at the end? I thought that if I upgraded, the wordpress.com would be removed. Also, I wanted it to be ad free.

Hi tamsanded,
I do see a premium upgrade on your account, but it’s connected to your tamsanded.wordpress.com site. Did you intend for it to be connected with https://tamsandedhomeschool.wordpress.com/? I can help you do that.
I also see that you turned on domain mapping to have the domain http://www.tamsanded.com/ point to your site. Do you already own this domain? If you own it we can have it point to your WordPress.com site instead of your current site. If someone else owns that domain, you’ll need to pick a different one.
Let me know if you want me to move the premium subscription and if you own the domain tamsanded.com and we can go from there.

I want the Premium upgrade to connect with my tamsandedhomeschool account.
I do own tamsanded.com, but that is my web site. I don’t want to change that. I am wanting to link the tamsandedhomeschool blog to my web site.
I am going to write as many blogs as I can this weekend. Should I wait to post them and wait to link them to my wed site until you have completed the change on your end? In other words, my blog is showing up on my Facebook page as tamsandedhomeschool.wordpress once you make the switch, will it automatically switch on prior posts?
-
So what you want is for your blog to have the domain tamsandedhomeschool.com instead of https://tamsandedhomeschool.wordpress.com/. Is that right?
If so, I can remove the domain mapping to tamsanded.com and you can register the domain tamsandedhomeschool.com. The premium upgrade includes a free domain registration, so you won’t incur any additional expense.
This change won’t impact any of your previous posts. After the domain update, the links you have on Facebook will still point to the same posts on your site.
