  I requested a refund for my domain name and plan, but haven’t seen confirmation of it yet. What’s up?

  Hi there,

  I can cancel and refund that domain and plan for you. Before I do, though, I want to confirm that you’d like to completely cancel the domain name akviolenceproject.org, and that you don’t want to use it somewhere else (like with a different website host).

  Canceling a domain means you give up ownership of that domain name. The domain name may not be released immediately, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to register it again in the future.

  If you’d like to keep the domain and use it somewhere else, you can Move Your Domain to Another Host instead. (If you’d prefer to keep your domain and do that, just let me know and I can cancel and refund the rest of your plan but leave the domain.)

  If you’re sure you want to cancel everything, let me know and I can take care of that for you.

  Hi rachelmcr…

  I just got charged 13.00 for domain mapping on my credit card and found out it was included in my premium upgrade which is not due to renew until August 21, 2015. Can you help with a refund for this charge. It is for my veteransacupuncture.wordpress.com account. Thanks, SaTerra Vishnu,

  Hi jncanfield, thanks for confirming! I just cancelled the plan and domain for you, and issued a full refund. It may take some time for that refund to appear on your bank statement, but you can find the refund receipt in your Billing History.

  @saterraji — Sure thing! I just refunded that $13 domain mapping and linked it to your Premium plan, so when you renew that plan it will renew the domain mapping, too. You’ll see the refund receipt for that refund in your Billing History.
