  Hi,

  Two weeks ago I decided to use the free trial to upgrade my wordpress-websites waitintildarkk.wordpress.com & waituntildarkkkk.wordpress.com. I was aware that £85 would be charged if I didn’t cancel after two weeks. After I received a notification through e-mail I decided to immediately cancel both accounts, before the trial run was over.
  This morning I noticed that £170 has gone out of my Bank account. I was wondering how I’m able to get a refund. since £170 is a lot of money for me for the moment.

  Hi Sven,

  You cancelled those Premium trial plans before the renewal charge went through, so WordPress.com never collected payment for those plans. I confirmed that you will not be charged for those plans.

  However, many banks will reserve the funds for pending payments like that and only release them after they process the cancellation on their end. You’ll need to get in touch with your bank to find out how long it will take for them to process that cancellation and release the funds back into your account.
