    I’m attempting to request a refund, and I receive the message ‘This upgrade cannot be canceled.’ There’s no way to send a screenshot, and this was done over PayPal – it’s not an issue with an ad blocker, and I’ve logged in a few different times and tried different ways of requesting the refund. What should I do now?

    Which upgrade are you referring to?
    Which blog URL are you referring to?
    Which username account registered that site and purchased the upgrade for it?
    Exactly when was the upgrade purchased?

    WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

    Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

    You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew.

    Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades.     Just to clarify, if you want to cancel your domain projectmuse.me it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and it may not choose to do so. We can’t guarantee that your domain will ever be available to you again once canceled. If you have any intention of using projectmuse.me again in the future, I suggest that you do not choose to cancel.

    Please confirm that you understand and want to cancel your domain. Once you have done so, I will cancel it, process the refund and remove the upgrade from your account.
