I have not used this domain in about ten months and my yearly payment just went through today and I had no clue this was going to happen. I had totally forgot about this domain and automatic payment! I would like to have this charge refunded to me as I don’t even use this. Please help! THANKS

I had exactly the same problem except they charged me for 3 years and I never ever used the site. I set it up on a day training course and BINGO – $99.00 a year to WORDPRESS and absolutely zero for me. No refund no apology basically tough luck we just charge you – we don’t look and see whether you are using the site.

WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew.
