    Hi, I applied for a refund as I have never used WordPress. It says it’s gone through – but please can you urgently confirm when it will hit my account? This charge came completely out of the blue and now I can’t afford to go on holiday, so a prompt response would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!

    It has definitely been refunded for you and will go back into your account depending on how fast the banks move them money. Sorry but we can’t be more precise.

    Thanks for the refund, just a thought but don’t you think it may be more efficient to email people prior to taking money out of their account to see if they still want to subscribe to the service, or even to remind them of the benefits of the service and offer ways to improve their experience? I find it bizarre that the only email I have received from WordPress in a year was to tell me they’d taken money. Shopify, who I am currently with, email me regularly with tips and updates etc…which I appreciate. But now the only experience I have had with wordpress communications is that they never contacted me and then made me go into my overdraft, which I get charged for, and potentially have to cancel a holiday. I think there is room for improvement here, don’t you?
