REFUND

    I requested a refund a month ago and i still have not received it
    not on my bank account, neither on the credit card i did the payment with

    I assumed it will take a while so i didn’t message support or anything and to this day i have not received anything back

    paying for a subscription sure is instantaneous transaction but getting it refunded in the 7 day money back guarantee claim is questionable

    A refund usually takes up to 10 business days. But most banks outside the USA usually need a lot more of time.
    Wordpress.com doesn’t have a ‘7 day money back guarantee’. “WordPress.com monthly plans are refundable within 7 days of purchase or renewal.” means you have 7 days to ask for a refund.

    I can see we processed a refund of $16.50 for you on 1 January. You can see the receipt with a transaction ID from our payment processor here:

    The refund was completed at our payment processor, so if it’s not visible on your statement yet, it’s due to the processing times at your bank. It’s also possible your bank could have merely cancelled out the original transaction, in which case your statement won’t show a separate entry for the refund.

    Please follow up with your bank and provide them with that transaction ID so they can check for the refund on their system. If they say they need a ARN number, let us know and we can send you that via email.
