  • Hi there,

    According to the help pages, it could take some time.

    After processing, refunds usually take about seven to ten business days to appear on your statement. For credit card refunds, it could take up to 1-2 billing cycles for the refund to show up. International refunds can take even longer to reach you.

  • Hi there,

    We processed your refund on 2 March. You can see the receipt with a transaction ID from our payment processor here:

    https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/

    Please follow up with your bank and provide them with that transaction ID so they can check for the refund on their system. If they need a ARN number, let us know and we can send you that via email.

    @ericfri
    , please tag refund-related questions like this for staff as we ask in the volunteer guidelines. That way we can double check and make sure the refund was properly processed.

    Sorry I missed the tag! I’ve been working on tagging things as I go, but I must have missed this one.

    Is there a list of tags somewhere I can go over?

    I know about modlook, spammer, remove personal info.

    I have picked up others by looking at the tags on other threads, but I haven’t been able to find a list of the most important tags used.

    Thanks for the feedback :)

    Cheers,
    Eric

  • @ericfri,

    No worries. We all forget to tag stuff sometimes :)

    The volunteer guide mentions all the most important stuff, and the two you have above are the ones you’d use the most along with modlook – those two aren’t strictly necessary, in that, it doesn’t send the thread to a specific queue. But they are a clue to us as to why the thread was tagged, so they’re very helpful.

    modlook on the other hand adds the thread to a specific forums view that staff checks regularly throughout the day, and is the only way to guarantee we’ll see a particular thread. Once we reply to a thread, any further replies also puts the thread back into our special queue, so once a staff member is involved there’s no need to re-modlook a thread :)
