  Hello, last night I purchased the cheapest plan for WordPress. I however saw that what I wanted to do could have easily been done with the free plan. I cancelled the subscription this morning, but it said I will only receive less than $10 back…

  The remainder of the refund is the domain portion. You have cancelled the domain, jackiehrndz.com. If you have plans to use that domain here, or elsewhere in the future we should try to restore it.

  If you do not want to use the domain again, and are ok forfeiting ownership of it, I’ll be happy to issue the remaining $26 refund. Please let me know how to proceed.

  Custom domains are part of our plan upgrades, so you won’t be able to use the custom domain with your free plan, instead you’ll use jackiehrndzcom.wordpress.com.

  No problem. I’ve refunded the remaining $26 for a total refund of $35.88. The funds should reach you within ten days.
