Hi there! Purchases made on WordPress.com can be canceled and refunded during the refund period:
a.) Domain registrations can be canceled within 48 hours of registration.
b.) Plans and other purchases can be canceled within 30 days of purchasing.
c.) If you used the domain credit to register a new domain as part of your plan, and the refund period for the registration has lapsed, the cost of the registration will be subtracted from your refund.
d.) If you used the domain credit to map an existing domain, or if you are canceling within the refund period for the registration, you will receive a full refund. You will be refunded to the same payment method you used for your purchase. After processing, refunds usually take about a week to appear on your statement. For credit card refunds, it may take 5-7 business days to appear on your online bank account or in 1-2 billing statements.
However, I’ll tag this thread for a Happiness Engineer to take a look :) have a great day!

Hi,
When I cancel my plan and get refunded the difference between the total fee and the domain registration, so I get to keep the domain I have registered and transfer it to a new host? How do I do this?
Thank you

Refunds typically take around 10 business days, but that also varies based on banks. We issue a refund immediately, and yours have been issued on 17 February, but banks have their own processing time before the refund will be visible on your statement. You can see a receipt for the refund here:

It’s better to start your own thread for account-related matters, but yes, if you cancel your plan after the 48 hour refund period for the domain, the domain is not cancelled and you are not refunded for the domain. You can then point the domain to a different hosting provider, and once you’ve owned the domain for 60 days you can transfer it away from us entirely if you prefer.
