Hi there :-)
For new domain registrations, you must cancel within 48 hours of purchase to receive a refund. There are no refunds, pro-rated or otherwise, after 48 hours.
For plans and all other purchases, you must cancel within 30 days of purchase to receive a refund.

Refunds and cancelling upgrades
There are no prorated refunds. Refunds https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/ are time limited.
• WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund from date of purchase on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
• The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

Canceling domains
It is important to know that cancelled domains are not released by the registrar immediately. Also note that here’s no guarantee you’ll be able to use a domain again as it may be sold to someone else. Therefore you should cancel a domain, if and only if, you are sure you do not wish to use it again.If that does not resolve your issue. Provide the following first:
- The URL of the domain in question.
- The username account that registered the site in question and purchased any upgrades for it.
- Whether or not you wish to use the domain on another site.

I have an email stating he gone contact me after he refund me and I never receive it here’s what he said ” Thanks for waiting! You should receive an email notification of the refund shortly. Please keep in mind, it can take several days for a refund to appear on your bank statement. i never received my refund
I’ve checked your account and I can see we issued a $48 refund on 2017-09-07. You can view a copy of the refund receipt in your Billing History here:

Refunds usually take 7-14 business days to show on your statement, so you can expect to receive the money around that time.

Hi dominiqueclark,
If you cancel an upgrade yourself through the Manage Purchases page, you will receive a confirmation email.
You won’t receive a confirmation email if staff cancel an upgrade for you. However, a refund receipt is available in your Billing History.
It seems you were told you would receive a confirmation email in error, sorry for any confusion!

If you haven’t received your refund after 14 business days (26th September), please contact your bank. Processing time varies from bank to bank but they should be able to tell you if there are any delays on their end. You can also provide them with the transaction ID printed on your refund receipt to help them locate the refund.
