What did you purchase?
What is the URL of the site you purchased it for?
Which username account made the purchase?
When did you make the purchase?Canceling and refunding purchases
There are no prorated refunds. Refunds https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/ are time limited.
• WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund from date of purchase on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
• The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
• It takes 7 – 10 business days and depending where you live from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received after canceling an upgrade and requesting one.You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. See: Canceling and refunding purchases http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades
Canceling domains
It is important to know that cancelled domains are not released by the registrar immediately. Also note that here’s no guarantee you’ll be able to use a domain again as it may be sold to someone else. Therefore you should cancel a domain, if and only if, you are sure you do not wish to use it again.Do you wish to use the domain on another site?

The money left my PAYPAL account with a direct request to me. I haven’t used wordpress for well over a year as I found arranging words and images more difficult than blog.co.uk which I used for the previous 10 years. I didn’t authorise payment to WordPress and was not asked . David Watmough

I’m sorry but I still do not see this information:
What did you purchase?
What is the URL of the site you purchased it for?
Which username account made the purchase?
When did you make the purchase? To save you time we can try to determine relevant details such as which upgrade, which site URL and which username account is this about.
How many username accounts and sites do you have? Maybe you failed to cancel one and disable auto renew.
Canceling and Refunding Purchases
https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#canceling-and-refunding-purchasesYou can view all transactions made with WordPress.com, including payments and refunds, in your Billing History. https://en.support.wordpress.com/billing-history/
Automattic Inc. https://automattic.com/ owns WordPress.com and other products like Akismet and VaultPress, etc. so this could be a charge related to one of them. It’s important to know that each charge is sent to the registered email address for each username account, so if you have more than one username account that could be confusing you. Also, if you have a wordpress.org account and a wordpress.com account that could be confusing you.
Have you tried using this resource?
To address any and all billing issues like this one we can click https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ and we can also use this form (which works even when the main contact form is closed): http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?whywasi=chargedPlease subscribe to this thread so you are notified when Staff respond and be patient while waiting. Hi –
I can see that there was a payment dispute created for the renewal of davidwatmough.blog. The money will be coming from PayPal now. Please contact them as they’ll be able to tell you when the refund will process in to your account.
If they can cancel the payment dispute I’ll be able to process a refund that will reach you in about ten days. Typically this is much faster than working through the payment dispute process. But that decision is yours.
