Dear WordPress,
I was never informed that the billing would occur again before the full year had passed and was unable to stop it from going through. Money was taken from my account and when I came here to cancel it and demand a refund, I was kicked out of purchases saying that I received a refund and can’t access it until I pay some ’27$ fee’ due to a cancelled transaction.
I not only need my money back, I need to make sure this never happens again. Delete my account and any information of mine which you have.
I tried to reach out to you but you only allow people to ask questions in forums rather than calling you and discussing privately.
VERY, VERY shady business practice. I’ll be letting everyone I know to stay clear of you in the future.

And to add, WordPress.com doesn’t have a phone support. We communicate online through the forums, live chat and email. If you had a paid plan, then you could get support by live chat. Since I’ve already tagged this, staff will take care of this from here. Wishing you that everything gets solved.

Hi there,
We process renewals at 11 months to prevent upgrades, especially domains, from expiring due to payment problems causing your site to go offline. We explain that it works this way in our documentation that was linked to on the checkout page when you purchased the upgrade.

We also send emails one month before the renewal is processed to the email address connected to the account, and again in the week before the renewal goes through.
For what site is this, though? I don’t see any recent renewal payments in the account you’re using to post here. The last upgrades you owned on this account were cancelled in August 2017.

That sounds like a chargeback fee. If you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company before asking us for a refund, your site is locked and the upgrades removed pending payment of a chargeback fee. You can read our full policy on chargebacks and disputes here:
