Refund

The other day, I was in my admin dash board editing my general settings. I must’ve accidentally altered my URL with an accidental keystroke before pressing save changes. As of yesterday, I kept receiving an error message claiming that my connection was unsafe and attackers may be trying to steal my information. As of today, my account apparently does not exist any more. I was wondering if I could possibly get a full refund or my website back? If not I will purchase another but I would really like my money back for the first one. Thank you guys I really appreciate your time!

    Best,
    Sam Smith

  • Hey there Sam, I actually don’t see any upgrades on this account. Can you confirm the original site address? We’ll check it out and point you in the right direction for support.

I had to make an account to even be able to post about it. The original address should be smittyyproducts.com Thank you!

  • That site may have used the free WordPress software, but the hosting service is through another company. Please reach out to them directly & they can likely help you get a backup restored.

Going forward, these forums are primarily for sites that use our free-tier hosting. We’re a little different from the WordPress software itself:
    https://wordpress.com/go/website-building/wordpress-com-vs-wordpress-org/

You’ll want to create an account at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ so you’ll have access to the correct community for your site. Or, you’d be welcome to host here; your plan would get direct support, and we can handle URL changes smoothly.

    I hope this helps!
