  Hi – I’ve inadvertently today made an automatic payment of £15 for domain mapping and domain registration. This is no longer needed and the site has been deleted. Is it possible to get this refunded?

  The registration of a new domain through WordPress.com is irreversible after the first 48 hours of registration. You can cancel a new domain registration from Purchases and receive a full refund within 48 hours of purchase. If you choose to cancel, you will receive an email to confirm the cancellation. After 48 hours, if you wish to cancel, please contact support. Note that new registrations are not refundable if canceled more than 48 hours after purchase.

  Hi there,

  The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com, and has never purchased any upgrades from us.

  It is impossible for a charge to be made for a deleted site, as all WordPress.com upgrades are connected to sites, and do not exist if the site doesn’t exist. What is the site for which this payment was made?
