If you want Staff to investigate you must provide specifics.
What is the URL of the domain?
Which wordpress.COM plan did you purchase?
Which wordpress.COM site did you purchase it for?Did you carry through and you use the appropriate process found here at Canceling and Refunding Purchases https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#canceling-and-refunding-purchases to cancel and request a refund?
Did you also cancel auto-renew https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#auto-renew?
Canceling and refunding purchases
There are no prorated refunds. Refunds https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/ are time limited.
• WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund from date of purchase on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
• The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
• It takes from 1 – 2 weeks or 7 – 10 business days for the refund to be received after canceling an upgrade and requesting one.Canceling domains
It is important to know that canceled domains are not released by the registrar immediately. Also, note that there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to use a domain again as it may be sold to someone else. Therefore you should cancel a domain, if and only if, you are sure you do not wish to use it again.I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. WordPress.com Business on https://shopsunandseed.wordpress.com
Domain: shopsunandseed.com
I purchased the business plan.
I went through the appropriate process. I had a pending $300 refund in my bank account last night, however, today I see wordpress has charged me $300. -
Hi there,
The only transactions I see on the shopsunseed account is a Personal Plan purchase of $48, and a subsequent refund for the same amount.
@shopsunandseed, I assume you are the same person? I’m not sure what your question is, though. If you purchased the Business Plan, which you appear to have done on Saturday, 14 July, then there will be a $300 charge on your account for that plan, yes.But it also looks like you cancelled that plan yesterday, and we issued a full refund. You will see the receipt for that refund if you access your billing history page while logged in as this account. You should receive the full refund in about 10 business days, depending on your bank’s processing times.

I had a $300 charge from WordPress the day I bought it, the 14th.
When I cancelled I showed a refund PENDING.
Then, it showed a CHARGE of $300 FROM WordPress.
NO REFUND. Why in the world would I have a second charge of $300 on the 16th? The only thing I did on the 16th was cancel my account. The fact that I am forced to deal with this via a public forum disturbs me. You must figure out where my refund is, why I got charged $300 for a second time, or I will have to contact the better business bureau. -
I see the purchase for the business plan on shopsunandseed.com on the 14th, and then I see a refund of the $300 on the 16th. Make sure and check the spam filter at your email provider to make sure the refund email did not get caught mistakenly there.
It could take a few days or so for that credit to show up on your statement.

Your robots are horrible and have caused me nothing but strife here. WordPress, this is why I will never use you, what a horrific company to deal with.

Hi there,
Let me clear the confusion here.
I can see we issued a full refund for your Business plan purchase ($300) on July 16th. You can see a receipt for the refund here:
https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/
Refunds usually take about 10 business days to appear in your account, but it depends on the processing times at your bank. To help your bank locate the refund you can provide them the transaction ID that appears in the refund receipt as a reference.
