  Hi,
  I have been waiting 10 days for a refund of £36

  Hi sophiedesouzablog,

  I’ve checked your account and I can see a full refund was sent on 18th July 2018. There is confirmation of this in your Billing History:

  https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing

  It usually takes 5-10 business for the refund to show on your statement but international refunds (outside the US) can sometimes take a little longer.

  The money has been sent from our side, so please contact your bank if the refund hasn’t come through in another couple of days. In some cases where upgrades are cancelled and refunded on the same day, banks remove the original payment from your statement rather than showing two separate debit and credit amounts — I would also recommend asking them whether they have done so.

  I have just contacted my bank and they have told me £36 left my bank account but it has not come back into my account, they have said the refund has not come back into my account and if it has it is not on my bank statements. I shall wait a couple of days, as suggested and shall check again.

  Thanks for keeping me updated. So far, there have been 8 business days since the refund was issued, so it may still arrive in the next couple of days. But it’s also worth bearing in mind that international refunds can take more than 10 business days to arrive and this doesn’t necessarily mean there is anything wrong:

  I appreciate you want to see it come through onto your statement though.
