Refund
-
I requested a refund from the domain name prettylivingmag.com which was automatically deducted from my account. The refund was not yet processed to my account. This deduction was taken without my authorization. A refund needs to be processed as soon as possible. I’d appreciate help as I have been a loyal customer to WordPress for over 7 years.

Hi there,
To address any and all billing issues like this one we can click https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ and we can also use this form (which works even when the main contact form is closed): http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?whywasi=charged
Automattic Inc. https://automattic.com/ owns WordPress.com and other products like Akismet and VaultPress, etc. so this could be a charge related to one of them. It’s important to know that each charge is sent to the registered email address for each username account, so if you have more than one username account that could be confusing you. Also, if you have a wordpress.ORG account and a wordpress.com account that could be confusing you.
Which upgrade, which site URL and which username account is this about, please?
How many username accounts and sites do you have?
Maybe you failed to cancel one and disable auto-renew.Did you carry through and you use the appropriate process found here at Canceling and Refunding Purchases https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#canceling-and-refunding-purchases to cancel and request a refund?
Did you also cancel auto-renew https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#auto-renew?
Canceling and refunding purchases
There are no prorated refunds. Refunds https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/ are time limited.
• WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund from date of purchase on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
• The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
• It takes from 1 – 2 weeks or 7 – 10 business days for the refund to be received after canceling an upgrade and requesting one.Canceling domains
It is important to know that canceled domains are not released by the registrar immediately. Also, note that there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to use a domain again as it may be sold to someone else. Therefore you should cancel a domain, if and only if, you are sure you do not wish to use it again.I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. Hi there,
As @timethief already mentioned, refunds usually take about 10 business days to appear in your statement, but it depends on the processing times at your bank. It can also take longer if you are with a non-US bank.
If you want to know more about you can follow up with your bank directly on this. You can provide them the transaction ID that appears in the refund receipt as a reference.
