Refund

    Hi,
    I decided for now I would cancel my subscription for a refund until I become more proficient with WP. It said my subscription was successfully cancelled, but I wasn’t redirected to a page that asked me or confirmed where the refund would go? Will it go right back into the card I used for initial purchase? I am assuming it takes 7-10 days for refund to show up in account, but I would just like confirmation that I did the refund correctly.

    If I could get an answer from staff could you contact me by email instead of forum?

    Hi there,

    Refunds are always made to the same source from which the payment was made.

    You can view a receipt for the refund in your billing history at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/. You should also have received a receipt via email.

    Refunds typically take around ten business days, depending on your bank’s processing times, though it can take longer to non-US banks. Also note that some banks will just remove the original charge rather than showing an entry for the refund, so please follow up directly with your bank if you don’t see the refund on that end yet after two weeks.
