  Been waiting for a refund since the 8th of October
  Very disappointing and frustrating

  When you take peoples money you take it instantly. You never upgraded my account then I paid you in 21 days

  3 weeks now waiting?
  When am I getting my money back

  Such a rip off

  Hi there,

  After processing, refunds usually take about five to ten business days to appear on your statement. For credit card refunds, it could take up to 1-2 billing cycles for the refund to show up. International refunds can take even longer to reach you. Your financial institution is going to be able to tell you when to expect the refund and how it will be listed on your statement.

  Hi there,

  We issued your refund on 8 October 2018. You can see a receipt for the refund with a transaction number from our payments processor in your billing history:

  But we have no control over how long your bank takes to process that refund once they receive it on their end. If you haven’t received the refund yet, please follow up directly with your bank, and give them the transaction ID from the refund receipt as a reference.

  when was the refund issued
  has the money left your bank ? need proof/ date
  which bank its being refunded to? and when it was deposited

  Pretty much, yes. As they have your payment, and they are responsible to returning it to your account with them.

  On 8 October, as per the receipt we emailed you on that day when you requested the refund, and that you can also see at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/32075233

  Yes. The proof is the receipt with a transaction ID from our payment processor. That ID wouldn’t exist if the transaction wasn’t processed and completed on our end.

  Refunds can only be returned to the same source from which the payment was made, so if you paid by credit card, the payment was returned to the same card.
