Refund?

    Hello!
    So yesterday morning I discovered that I had forgotten to cancel a subscription for a wordpress project that I completely forgot about. Is it possible to get a refund? And where do I send an email to wordpress support?? Thanks!

    If you are on the free plan, posting in this forum is how you ask for staff attention. You can do this by adding a modlook tag to your post, but I will add that for you.

    Exactly which subscription are you referring to please? And what is the URL of the associated site involved?

    Refunds and canceling upgrades
    There are no prorated refunds. Refunds https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/ are time limited.
    • WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund from date of purchase on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
    • The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
    • It takes from 1 – 2 weeks or 7 – 10 business days for the refund to be received after canceling an upgrade and requesting one.

    You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew.     Canceling domains
    It is important to know that canceled domains are not released by the registrar immediately. Also note that there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to use a domain again as it may be sold to someone else. Therefore you should cancel a domain, if and only if, you are sure you do not wish to use it again.

    The account you’re using to post here only owns the free site, http://ritzyowl.wordpress.com, and has never bought any upgrades from us.

    What is the upgrade you want to cancel, and for which site did you buy it? You’ll need to be logged into the WordPress.com account that bought the upgrade in order to cancel it or request a refund.
