Refund

    Hello, I’ve been charged over £50 for a renewal of a WordPress account that I though had been deleted almost a year ago. The money that was taken was for food to last the month so this has caused some anxiety. I tried looking up a contact number to speak with someone directly but there doesn’t seem to be any contact information outside of contacting via this means. How can I get a refund?

    There are no charges listed on the account you are contacting us from, so it sounds like the upgrade was originally purchased through a different WordPress.com account. But don’t worry, we’ll try and help you get this sorted out. Please go the “Why was I charged?” page:

    Why was I charged?

    And use the Contact Support » link (on the right) to contact our payments team directly and request a refund. The transaction details can be submitted via that form — please do not share them on these public forums.

    Once you’ve done that, we’ll be happy to take a look.
