REFUND

    This is the third time I’ve attempted to request a refund from WordPress and I don’t understand why this is so difficult for you to action.
    £51.00 was taken from my account on 19 June without my consent Receipt ID: [redacted]
    Transaction ID: [redacted]. I need someone to process this refund to me as soon as possible! I was previously told by people on the last two forums which I commented on that my account was not activated. I then proceeded to follow their instructions and activate my account but was yet again taken around in circles as no one has processed my refund!

    Could someone please action this for me as soon as possible.

  • So, normally, you can get a refund from https://wordpress.com/me/purchases but you need to be logged as the account which originally purchased the product, and this is not that account.

    We do consider the transaction ID to be proof of ownership though, so we can work with that.

    The charge is for the renewal of the domain nadafawellness.com which was opted-in to auto-renew.

    If we cancel and refund this, you will lose the domain, and there is no guarantee you’ll ever be able to register it again. Would you like us to proceed?

    Alternatively, you can follow the steps at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ to regain access to the correct account using that transaction ID and cancel/refund it yourself. Overall, I recommend doing this anyway, since you really should maintain access to that account.
