For some reason it didnt cancel my auto-renewal and for another reason I was charged a full month early, I have attempted to cancel and get a refund using the automated tools but they are telling me to contact support.
Do I need to sort this out via paypal or can you guys fix it?

Yes it pays to disable auto-renew if you don’t want to renew. Yes payments are taken roughly one month before expiry to give time for situations like this to be resolved. Don’t dispute the payment with Paypal as that will only make receiving a refund more complicated. You should be able to cancel your upgrade/contact staff directly from your site if you are logged in to the correct account. What is the address of your site? Hi there,
I see that you were able to process a refund for the plan. I just issued you a refund for the domain subscription as well. It will take up to 7-10 days for the refund to post your account.

I started a blog with the intent to post thrift store up cycling and trash to treasure. I have broken my kneecap and am unable to pursue this. Ii just started my blog two weeks ago. How can I delete my blog and receive a refund?
