    Hi! A non-technical question here – I have been recently charged a renewal fee. However, I no longer want the account. Therefore, should I delete my account, will the recent charge be refunded? It is still within 30 days since the payment was taken. Thanks in advance! Syeda

    No, closing the account won’t auto-refund. But if you ask for a refund we can usually give it, then you can delete your account, or keep it as a free account.

    That said, the account you’re writing from does not have any charges. Can you log out, and log back in using the email address that gets renewal reminders? Then you can update us again here, or go to https://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ to reach support directly.
