I have since cancelled my subscription within the specified time. Almost a month has passed I still haven’t received the refund. Can someone tell me what could be the reason?

The refund was sent the same day as the purchase, so it may have been processed as a reversal. That means your credit card provider should have simply removed the original charge, rather than apply it as a credit.
