Refund

I have requested for the upgrade on freelancer plan and want my refund before I initiate the purchase.

  • Hi there,

For what upgrade, on which site, do you want a refund?

We don’t offer any product called a Freelancer plan on WordPress.com, and the account you’re using to post here does not currently own any upgrades with us.

You used to have our Personal Plan on the site, imaginomist.wordpress.com, but you cancelled that plan and we processed your refund on 25 September. You can see the receipt with a transaction ID from our payment processor here:

You should receive the full refund in about 10 business days, depending on your bank’s processing times.

    Hi There,

Not sure if I was wrong about it.

    https://wordpress.com/plans/imaginomist.wordpress.com?customerType=business

There are 2 types of business plans in WordPress – Premium (for freelancers) and Business (for SME). I am talking about the former.

I have already purchased the domain [imaginomist.com] for Rs 1972 under your default personal plan, unknowingly that it doesn’t allow you to make amendments as desired.

Realising that, I requested for a refund the very next day, as per the policies of 100% refund under 30 days.

I would request you to please look into this very seriously as we have a launched planned next week. Once the refund request is complete and I receive the entire amount in my Bank. Only then I shall be able to initiate the Business plan purchase.

After speaking with the Bank manager, they denied any payment receipt of the same.

There are in fact four plans: Personal, Premium, Business and eCommerce. The page you reference says the Premium Plan is ideal for freelancers. It doesn’t say the plan is called the freelancer plan. The plan’s name is Premium :)

Please see my reply above. You bought that plan on 24 September, and cancelled it on 25 September. The refund was processed the moment you cancelled it, but it can take up to ten business days for your bank to receive and process the refund on their end. We have no control over this part of the process.

Today is only the first business day since Friday when we issued this refund, so it’s very unlikely your bank would have processed it already.
