  I have made a mistake with the domain name. if I cancel will I receive a refund?

  Yes, you will receive a refund if you have already paid for custom domain (not used credits for a free domain). More info about domain cancellation is here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#cancel-a-domain-name

  There are no sites under your account. Are you sure you’re not referring to a domain registered elsewhere, like Bluehost?
