  • Hey there,

I have canceled your subscription to WordPress.com Business and refunded the charges back to you. The refund can take 7-10 business days to reflect on your bank statement.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Take care,

    Hi there,

Ok when you cancelled that account it caused all sorts of problems for me and I can’t get anyone to talk to me over there. Somehow another site I have with a similar name URL was taken down by your end. The site is https://orgnizliving.com/

That site is extremely important and I need it reinstating. What do I have to do to accomplish this? I have multiple sites on the WordPress platform hosted through GoDaddy on their Premium Sites service. They have told me they have not seen anything like this and only WordPress can reinstate my website.

What is goin on over there? I just need some help. Please…..

    Mark F.

  • Hi,

I’m not seeing that orgnizliving.com is hosted here and the domain is not registered here either. The current nameservers for the domain are pointing to GoDaddy.

A couple of years ago, orgnizliving.com was hosted at WordPress.com on a monthly Business plan. But your user account canceled that plan on 1-16-22 and it has not been connected to any WordPress.com sites since then.

I would encourage you to check with GoDaddy support and explain the situation again. Because unless I’m missing something, orgnizliving.com is hosted with GoDaddy and not us here at WordPress.com.

    Hi there,

Thank you for the clarification. This is really strange because GoDaddy is putting the blame on your side for some reason. I do know there is a difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org but this is all a little crazy and it was just the timing that made me think there was a connection. It was literally within a day of shutting down the site I wanted closing on your WordPress.com network that my OrgnizLiving.com site went down.

I will go back to GoDaddy and elevate the investigation to see what has been done for it to disappear?

    Thanks, Mark

  • Hello Mark,

This is really strange because GoDaddy is putting the blame on your side for some reason.

Yes, that’s not unheard of – they may be pointing you toward the WordPress.org forums for assistance, rather than WordPress.com.

I hope that helps with contacting GoDaddy. We’re also here to help if you may feel working with WordPress.com would future proof the uptime of the site…

As part of our support, we’d restore the site and deactivate what would be causing that downtime.

I hope this is all useful intel.

Hi there, this is Mark again. I am completely lost here. GoDaddy is showing no responsibility and saying that I must have had a hosting account with you and I need to reconnect it to be able to work through them?

I have no idea what to do?

The issue started when I cancelled this orgnizit.wordpress.com account so I am wondering if I should reinstate it? Can that be done?

Is there any other way to figure out how orgnizliving.com was connected to WordPress? This site was connected for two years. I personally worked on it for over a year.

Any help here would be much appreciated.

    Thanks, Mark

Does this have anything to do with the issue? It was connected at some point?

  • Hey there,

Thanks for reaching back out, and sorry to see of the trouble you’ve faced here.

Hi there, this is Mark again. I am completely lost here. GoDaddy is showing no responsibility and saying that I must have had a hosting account with you and I need to reconnect it to be able to work through them?

When you’re contacting GoDaddy, which site are you quoting exactly? The site that is with them is: orgnizliving.com?

The issue started when I cancelled this orgnizit.wordpress.com account so I am wondering if I should reinstate it? Can that be done?

orgnizit.wordpress.com  is a completely separate entity to GoDaddy and if this was deleted, it wouldn’t have any impact on orgnizliving.com.

    I can’t see orgnizit.wordpress.com is deleted.

Does this have anything to do with the issue? It was connected at some point?

This sounds like it could have been the installation at GoDaddy… or the FTP address they provide for the information.
