    Hi there,

    It is possible to install any plugin or theme “designed for WordPress” on your WordPress.com site, but to do so you will need to be upgraded to our Business Plan. The features of the Personal Plan are not sufficient to allow for the installation of plugins

    I have cancelled the Personal Plan and issued a refund for your original purchase amount. You can see a receipt confirming this refund here:  https://wordpress.com/me/billing

    You can expect to see the funds in your account, but it can take a billing cycle or two depending on your institution. I can confirm the refund was processed on our end, but you may also wish to contact your credit card company to confirm.

    If you don’t mind my asking, what plugins were you looking to install? Happy to take a closer look and confirm if our built in functionality (under the Personal Plan) would would be able to take the place of a plugin, or if an upgrade will be required.
