I would like a refund please. I have been unable to use WordPress at all yet £43.20GBP has gone from my account. I cannot use email support even thought it was in my plan. I have the transaction ID.

Can forum members please stop telling me to not open other threads when I am asking for genuine support from WordPress.

    Hell Staff-Dragon,

I purchased the £3 a month plan as I only need limited capability on my website as it is temporary.

I purchased the domain alicejacobwedding.com with the plan (or so I thought) and when I logged in I forgot that I already had a wordpress blog. I have since deleted that wordpress blog but still cannot write my first page. It asks me to go and buy a domain again. When I type in alicejacobwedding it says that this is mapped to another wordpress site. I have been unable to do anything other than go round and round in circles.

When I go on my purcahses to look for a refund the transaction is not there even though it shows up on my bank statement and email address (the same one I use for wordpress). I also have the transaction ID.

So in effect I cannot refund nor use wordpress.

    Thank you

Thank you for providing additional information; it’s quite helpful!

Upon checking the domain alicejacobwedding.com, it appears that it was purchased under a different user account. This discrepancy explains why you’re unable to see it when logged in under the @alicejacobwedding account.

To resolve this issue, if you recall the username or email address associated with the account used to purchase the domain, you can log out of @alicejacobwedding and log in using the correct credentials.

Alternatively, if you don’t remember the login details and since you have the transaction ID, you can use the Account Recovery form to verify ownership of the site and domain. The form can be accessed here: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

Provide as much information as possible, including an email address for Support to contact you. The transaction ID will be on your bank statement, labeled as “WordPress” followed by a ten-digit alphanumeric code (e.g., WordPress XXXXXXXXXX).

For a detailed overview of the account recovery process, you can refer to this link:

    https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/

Once our support team verifies your account, they can help you with cancelling your plan if you choose or they can help you with any obstacles you’re having with using your site.

I hope this clears up any confusion. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if there’s anything else we can assist you with.
