I have a WordPress website, william-howard.com however I noticed that you have taken money from my account 16 Jan 2026 Card Purchase WP WORDPRESS ESE03F3QU 50118484560 180.00 06 Jan 2026 Card Purchase WP WORDPRESS 1KD26KT01 50118484560 288.00

I can help you understand those charges! I can see you have a WordPress.com site at william-howard.com, and I notice two recent transactions on your account.

However, I don’t see any sites connected to your current WordPress.com account. This could mean a couple of things – you might have signed up with a different email address for your site, or your domain might be hosted elsewhere.

Can you try using our Site Profiler to check where william-howard.com is actually hosted? This will help us figure out if those charges are related to your WordPress.com services or if there might be some confusion about which service you’re being billed for.

I am not sure if you have been doing this every year since I built the site – but I have NOT Authorized this – it may be on an automatic subscription I’m not sure – but would like my money back please that’s £468.00. The other thing why two amounts is this some form of duplication ?

I completely understand your concern about these unauthorized charges totaling £468! Let me help you get this sorted out.

Looking at your transactions, I can see the charges from January 6th (£288) and January 16th (£180), but I don’t see any sites connected to your current WordPress.com account. This suggests you might have another WordPress.com account with a different email address where your william-howard.com site and subscriptions are managed.

Since these appear to be automatic renewals that you didn’t authorize, and given the amount involved, I’d recommend connecting with our human support team who can:

    • Locate your correct account with the subscriptions
    • Explain what each charge was for
    • Help with refund eligibility for unauthorized renewals

Would you like me to connect you with a human support agent to resolve this billing issue?

yes please my number is 07710 907 988 email (email visible only to moderators and staff)
