  Hello WordPress. May I know the status of my refund ?

  May I know if refunded to my bank account or debit card. Thanks.

  Hi there,

  We processed the refund back to you on 9/22 – we released the funds back to your bank a while back and they are no longer with us. I would for sure contact your bank about this. Sometimes, they are able to see pending transactions that you do not see on your end. Also, depending on your bank and the country in which you reside, the refund could take longer. Please reach out to them and let us know what you find out.

  Hello.

  It’s been 43 days. I do not see any transaction from WordPress in my bank account. The card used to register was expired days before the recurring charges. I sure hope the refund does not go there. Anyways.

  May I know IF the refund went through what will it appear as in the statement?

  Will contact the bank tomorrow as today is public holiday.

  With all transactions, there’s an ARN number associated with the transaction. ARN is the “Acquirer Reference Number” – a tracking number which your bank can use to trace the payment and refund.

  There is no ARN (Acquirer Reference Number) available for this particular transaction on our end because you requested the refund before the original charge settled with the bank, so the original charge would have disappeared from your bank statement without a refund being issued.

  If that is not the case, your bank would need to investigate where your original funds ended up.

  Hello.

  There is no ARN (Acquirer Reference Number) available for this particular transaction because you requested the refund before the original charge settled with the bank, so the original charge would have disappeared from your bank statement without a refund being issued.

  Unfortunate. Will check with the bank. Hopefully the money isn’t burned.

  If they have an ARN number or other transactional identifier noting the funds are with us, please let us know (don’t post this information in the forums) and we’ll reach out to get that data via email.
