I mistakenly purchased a theme for WordPress.com when I wanted one for WordPress.org. How do I obtain a refund?

You can request a refund yourself directly from the Store > My Upgrades section of your Dashboard https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/new-upgrades-management-section?replies=1

Thanks, I tried that but it keeps telling me to “contact support” and then sends me to the community forum page. Any ideas?

I’m so sorry but if you cannot hover over the item and click the cancel button then all I can do it flag this thread for Staff attention. As it’s the weekend I don’t expect Staff will respond immediately.

The themes have a 30 day refund window and your posting here establishes your desire for a refund – the staff here have a good record of providing refunds when requested in a timely manor

I don’t see any transactions on your account.
Please make sure that you are logged in as the user who purchased the theme when you request a refund.

Yes, I realized I was logged in as the wrong user. I went to cancel my bundle and the theme, was able to click cancel for the bundle, but not the theme. When I got the confirmation email to cancel the bundle, I received this error message upon clicking on the confirmation link: ” An error occurred while refunding your upgrade. Please contact support”

I was able to force a refund for these as requested.
