REFUND A PURCHASE,
-
Yesterday I tried to create a mini Free blog for less than $5.00. I made an initial payment of $2.29 and thought that was all or so. Then a huge payment appeared for a WordPress plan. It was at this point that I realized I was certainly on the wrong track. I didn’t hit on the purchase button but decided to go back searching for where to cancel the entire creation of the blog. While I was still searching a bank alert popped up and when I verified I found that the huge amount had already been withdrawned from my VISA CARD even without my authorization as I had just paid the initial purchase.
I am therefore requesting for a refund of all the two purchases so that I shall at a later date create the mini Free blog I wanted to create. This will also give me time to recover from the shack of not only forcefully withdrawing money from my VISA CARD but also making my account very insecure from similar sites. Thanks very much for your understanding.

Hi @buhprotusbiame,
I’ve reviewed your WordPress.com account and couldn’t find any charges related to a paid plan. Your account is currently on the Free plan and isn’t associated with any purchases.
I recommend double-checking the charge on your credit card to ensure it’s not from a different company. If you still believe the charge is from WordPress.com, please contact us through our private support channels rather than this public forum, for security reasons.
I look forward to hearing from you!

Well then if you say you never withdrew 50 050frs CFA from my VISA CARD then let me withdraw my frustrations from your door step to elsewhere and learn to coup with it. But if the incomplete blog was to require another expenditure then I will have no option than to cancel it because as it stands now I don’t have any money in my account again. But. If the finishing touches like linking to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc then I will keep it. I wonder if WordPress was downloaded already. You know better as you have been there already. Please kindly just look at it to make sure it is in order. I will only look at the blog tomorrow 13/6/2025. I am sorry if you are not conected with withdrawal of money from my account. You were the last person I made a payment and I have no clue where your own alert went to. Difficult to say but that is how the situation is for now. Thanks for your understanding.Buh Protus Biame.

Hi @buhprotusbiame,
I’ve checked your account again and confirmed that you’ve successfully registered a paid plan with us. I also see that you’ve created a support ticket. We’ll be responding to you through that ticket, as it’s recommended to handle matters like this privately rather than in the public forums, for security purposes.
Thank you for your patience! -
Thanks for your email which confirms that the 50.050frs CFA was indeed withdrawned to pay for the two items. This is exactly what my first email established and I am still determined to create a mini Free blog for less than $5.00. In this case I am not ready to pay for the huge second purchase. I am therefore requesting WordPress to refund the entire sum and we properly create the mini Free blog I initially set out to create for less than $5.00. Alternatively refund the extra amount leaving the less than $5.00 for the mini Free blog. And if that was an error and what you created was the mini Free blog as you earlier said then refund just the balance and the matter would be considered resolved as I and WordPress are tightly together in this business of blogging and it is WordPress to show me the way be with me all the way 24/7. Thanks very much for throwing light on the matter very honestly. You are indeed a very transparent and dignified platform to be trusted. Buh Protus Biame.
