Refund after cancelling

    Hello! I cancelled my premium membership and got a refund 73$ of 99$. What can I do to get the last 26$?

    It sounds like you bought a domain and you were not refunded for that, as domains have special refund conditions.

    It sounds like you bought a domain and you were not refunded for that, as domains have special refund conditions.

    Allow me to be more clear: when you buy a plan, you get to pick a domain, too that’s included in the price.

    However, to get a full-refund with domain included, you would need to apply for this in the first 48 hours, as stated below:

    For new domain registrations, you must cancel within 48 hours of purchase to receive a refund. There are no refunds, pro-rated or otherwise, after 48 hours.

    The phrase above was taken from the link I gave you above.

    For plans and all other purchases, you must cancel within 30 days of purchase to receive a refund. If you used the domain credit to register a new domain, the normal cost of registration will be deducted from your refund. If you mapped an existing domain, or never used a domain, you will receive a full refund. There are no refunds, pro-rated or otherwise, after 30 days.

    Howdy –

    This domain was cancelled correctly and it was a glitch on our side that prevented the $26 portion of the refund from being issued. I have manually processed the the remainder of the refund now. It may take up to ten days to reach you.

    This also means that you are forfeiting ownership of the domain. It can be impossible to gain ownership of it again in the future. If you have plans to use this domain again, you should be able to register it at a different platform in about 5 days. Or we can help you restore it to your WordPress.com account.
