refund after realizing that ads are not allowed

  I upgraded recently and i realized that i could not do Google Ad word on the domain name of wordpress. i tried to council my upgrade so that i can be refunded before 24 hours but i did not get the link to confirm, i will i really get my money back and if not what can i do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You don’t WANT a refund of the domain name, if you intend to blog elsewhere. You want to keep teh domain name and just change the nameservers so they point to your new site. Wherever you end up, you’ll need a domain name, and if you cancel this one, you might never get it back again.

  so does that mean that i will be running Google Ad word using the domain name i got from wordpress? my major goal is to earn money sfrom Google Ad word that is why am blogging.

  i received a refund on reference Refund but the money is not in the bank. they sent the receipt so what can i do?

  it can take 7 to 14 days for the money to make it back to your account depending on how slow the transfer agents are – but if you got the receipt then the money has left the WordPress.COM account and is on the way back to you

  Hi there,

  Your domain was cancelled and refunded, and your receipt shows the refund. Please note it can sometimes take 1-2 weeks for refunds to appear on your credit card statement.

  Also, please don’t share the full details from your receipts on the public support forums here.

  Hi there,

  We have issued the refund via Paypal. You may want to reach out to your bank to see if there is any hold up there which is limiting the return of your funds to you, however we do not have any control of the fees which you paid any longer.
