Refund and Switching Domain
-
So I didn’t know the difference between wordpress.org and .com before I bought .com. I have my own host and switched to .org, I deleted the .com website and when I go on my domain it still says that it’s set to private (which I did because I thought it’d make it so it’d work with my .org version). I have installed the website with .org, but the website still tries going to the .com version.
I also want to cancel my refund but after I click “Cancel and Refund”, a white screen pops up saying “Cancel and Refund” at the top, but there’s no options that come up, I tried on different browsers and refreshing the page and it’s still happening. Please help me, thank you!!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi ckelseybusiness,
I just went to reputationspecialist.org, and it appears to access your WordPress.org site (though your theme seems to be broken).
I’ve also tagged this topic for a Staff follow-up! They’ll be able to assist you with cancelling and refunding your upgrades.

Thank you so much!!! I fixed the website now, the only issue I have now is the refund, it’s not letting me cancel when I click cancel and refund. I can send a screenshot if that’d help. Thank you!

You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog to access the blog’s dashboard > Store > My Upgrades and cancel and get a refund.
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.

Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there.

I deleted my site that I’d originally had made to log in with. And I went onto the store then my upgrades and cancel and get refund, I see the option right on my screen, but it shows this after I click:

Yes indeed that’s the issue right there. Please be patient while waiting for Staff help.

Okay I had my website fixed (reputationspecialists.org) and now it’s gone back to saying ckesleybusiness.wordpress.com has been deleted. That issue had stopped and now it’s back again, is this because staff is doing something to it…?

I do not know. What I do know is that every time we post into a thread the timestamp moves forward and it takes longer to get Staff help. It’s in your best interest to do nothing but to wait patiently for their help.

Hi there,
I just cancelled your WordPress.com Premium plan and issued a full refund, so you’re all set with that! (Please note it can sometimes take 1-2 weeks for refunds to appear on your bank statement.)

This is the usual behavior when you make a domain change like the one you made. It can take up to 72 hours for domains to fully switch over to point to a new site (in a process called domain propagation), and in the meantime you might see it flip back and forth between the old site and the new one. However, that should settle down after a few days.
