Refund but no receipt

    Hi,

    I accidentally bought a new wordpress site and domain name as I was actually trying to upgrade an account.

    I cancelled the order within 24 hours (even thought it said cancelling within 4 days) and got a message to tell me that I would get a refund but it didn’t say how long it would take.

    Today I upgraded the site I originally wanted to upgrade and actually recieved a receipt.

    I then realised I never recieved a receipt for the purchase of my order.

    At what point do I need to chase this in case I don’t get my money back?

    So I upgraded my domain from starter to explorer so that I could switch on adwords, as well as bought a new domain name, however I’ve noticed that somehow I have actually bought new wordpress site and now I have 2 domains.

    Do I now need to copy and paste all of my blog posts and videos etc. from the new domain to the old domain?

    I see that your first payment of £28.80 was successfully refunded on our end. The refund receipt is at https://wordpress.com/me/billing. (You’ll find two separate refund receipts.)

    Your new WordPress.com Explorer plan (monthly) was purchased on simonwitney.wordpress.com. Did you want this plan on a separate site?

    Also, monthly WordPress.com plans do not include free domain registrations for the first year. So, you’ll need to pay separately for the domain. Do you want to register a new domain, or do you need help with restoring the domain you registered previously (simonwitney.co.uk)?
