Hi, I had a annual plan that autorenewed (Although credit card exceeded limit) – the email account linked was cancelled as the business didn’t proceed so I didn’t get any reminders. I tried to cancel and refund per the instructions, but the plan is not showing in the account (I did dispute the paypal transaction so perhaps something is already in motion?). Can you please advise or arrange? Please not i do not have access to the linked email address so it makes this method of support difficult as I don’t know how to monitor the status of this request!

It’s not a good idea to start a dispute as everything gets on hold for up to 80 days. WordPress.com cannot issue a refund while a dispute is active. You also have to pay a fee of 15 USD. Best would be to cancel the dispute – https://wordpress.com/support/payment/chargebacks/

Thank you very much! That probably explains the issue. WordPress staff, I have cancelled the dispute and hopefully that makes the product re-appear and I will try to refund by the normal process (just hoping it does within the timeframe). Please let me know if there is anything else I should know or do.

Do you want to keep the domain name? We still have a chance to restore that before it goes into redemption if we hurry, and it can be difficult and sometimes impossible to get it back or even re-register you let that process continue. If you don’t want the domain, we’ll send a full refund; if you do we’ll deduct the domain price from the refund. Let us know as soon as you can. Thanks!
