  Hi there – I accidentally purchased a domain yesterday on wordpress.com, when it should have been wordpress.org. Could I pls have a refund and cancel my site?

  Note that if you cancel your domain within 72 hours of purchasing it then it should become available for you to purchase it again somewhere else in a week or so. You could of course keep the domain right here at WordPress.com and then map it to wherever else you choose.
