Refund deleted topic

    I have been promised a refund in a subject of this forum. The topic doesn’t exist anymore (when I click the link given in the email, it sends me to the forum homepage + when I search for its title, I get no result) and I have no news of my refund.

    I received an email on the 19/09/2014 retranscripting the reply of “dabetts” to my problem:

    “Hi there,

    Upgrades purchased on WordPress.com are only available for blogs hosted on WordPress.com. They can’t be used on self-hosted WordPress.org sites. If you would like a refund for your purchase, let me know and I can cancel the upgrade and issue a refund

    I’m afraid I won’t be able to help out much with your issue of installing your blog in a subfolder on your self-hosted site. We can only offer support for sites hosted on WordPress.com here.

    However, here’s the WordPress codex article on how to do this. It’s a but tricky but follow the steps carefully and it should work: http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
    Also, the WordPress.org forums can be slow to respond at times because it’s all volunteers. However, they’ll get back to you and I’ve always found them very helpful.

    1. Did you purchase an upgrade from the WordPress.COM site?
    2. Can you post a link to the website you are having difficulty with?
